Becoming a Jedi has never been easy, but it seems even more impossible now that KOTOR II has been ported, and the game is essentially UNBEATABLE.

Released on the Switch earlier this month by developers Aspyr Media, the project itself was unveiled a little over a year ago and had fans going wild. Knights of the Old Republic is one of Star Wars’ most revered gaming franchises, leading to fans to getting extremely excited for it. However, it’s been noticed now, that playing through the game normally just doesn’t let you win. There seems to be an unavoidable crash after the game comes to the final sort of chapter of the game.

The developer studio is aware of the problem, saying that it only “affects a small number of users” and will be patched in the near future, but interestingly enough, have actually published a CHEAT CODE to bypass it if you do happen to encounter it.

While this is pretty janky, you have to remember, the original KOTOR II was kind of a janky mess as well. Most people saw the sequel as a much buggier release than the original KOTOR, and would make porting the title a NIGHTMARE when you dug into the code.

Are you excited to see more rereleases like this to hit the market? And have you encountered the game breaking bug? If you have, let me know if you’ve gotten around it in the comments below
