Materials Needed
Black felt
Orange and purple ribbon
A small purple bead
A needle and purple thread
A hot glue gun
Fabric glue
And Scissors

Step-by-Step Instructions:
(01:36) Cut a triangle with a round bottom from black felt. This will be the cone of the hat. Sew the two straight sides together. Don’t forget to ask an adult for help with the needle if you need to!

(01:57) Once the hat is sewn together, turn it inside out. To make the brim of the hat, take your felt and cut an oval. Fold it in half and cut out the middle. Now sew the brim onto the cone of the hat.

(02:38) Now, take your needle and purple thread and begin to loop a stitch all around the edge of the brim so it goes all the way around.

(03:00) Glue your smaller ribbon onto your larger ribbon. Once it’s dry, wrap your ribbon around the hat where the top meets the brim and glue it into place. We’re going to make a bow and glue it onto our ribbon.

(03:22) To complete this witchy hat, cut a scallop pattern into your orange ribbon. Glue it along the bottom of the brim. Now glue a small purple ball to the tip!
