This video shows you how you can optimise an APC for gathering by using all vehicles.
It is very useful to have one Barrack setup with your APC configuration as all vehicles. This is best for Gathering tasks as well as getting somewhere quickly.
Note that it doesn’t give you the strongest unit for attacking, but beyond gathering, if you need to travel far to repair an Alliance Center structure or occupy a tile, then this setup is excellent.
Select a Barrack other than your Main and go to /”Formation/”
Ideally you have Vehicles trained up already to the highest Tier you can.
What you do is to replace your Fighter and Shooter units with Vehicles by dragging in what you have available. Train up more to get the allocations full, unlike you see here…
So why do this?
You will find that your APC Unit will drive much faster when it is all vehicles. Also, your load capacity increases, which means you can return with more resources when gathering. Therefore, on Gathering Day, send out your APCs configured like this!
To demonstrate, APC Main will attack this Level 5 Ancient Zombie, with a configuration of Fighters, Shooters and Vehicles.
Barrack 2 APC will attack the Rebel Camp with its all Vehicle configuration. Note that this is being sent off second!
Now see how the all Vehicles APC accelerates past the mixed main APC, which was set off before!
