Leona is both a Renegade, granting bonus damage, and an Aegis, granting bonus MR. She is a melee unit, and her ability has her call down an orbital laser strike on her target. It leaves Leona stationary and deals constant damage until the target dies. She is probably the best tank shredder in the game. It deals TRUE DAMAGE per second to the target and mafic damage to nearby enemies. Because she already does so much damage, Leona primarily needs survivability. BT, is a necessity for the shield. HOJ or Gunblade are worse but slam them if you have no chance of getting BT. Titans or Gargoyle are great for more tankyness. Archangel’s is the best damage item, but RFC or EoN are solid to avoid being aggroed. Other notable items are Blue Buff, JG, or Rabadons. Her carry augment grants 30 AP and reduces her maximum mana by 20, allowing her to cast much more often. Her support augment reduces all incoming damage your team receives by 30. Both are stellar augments, fitting for a 5-cost.
