This game has seriously changed my perception and way I think about word game mechanics significantly. It’s obscure, the graphics are not appealing, and yet the gameplay is incredibly good.

It’s similar to The Witness in that there is a massive world and tons of mechanics you need to experiment to figure out, and like Antichamber in the non-euclidean geometry and navigation. It’s attracted the Taiji dev, mapmakers, and Witness speedrunners already as well.

Oh one thing I forgot to mention in the video: to switch between inputting and not inputting text, you have to right-click or press Enter. I think this is hidden away in the Controls ingame but should be more prominent.

was tempting to name it /”Lingo – A Great Puzzle Game You Should Play/” or something but the reference is so old. lol.

(also, one puzzle I show of my own map has a wrong block on it – the double ME NOT. i noticed this before uploading and, well, whoops, lol)

all music used in the video is either music from Lingo, or made by me (the tracks by me are called Browsing, and To The Top)
