Mega Altaria is the Best Raid Attacker in Pokemon GO???

Mega Altaria is debuting in Pokemon GO after Altaria Community Day. At first, Mega Altaria didn’t look like much as a Raid Attacker, but upon further investigation it looked like Mega Altaria is the best Dragon-type Raid Counter in Pokemon GO, beating out Mega Garchomp and even Mega Rayqauza. Because of Mega Altaria’s resistance to Dragon-type attacks and ability to give a mega bonus to Dragon-type Pokemon for a longer amount of time, the added bonus damage puts Mega Altaria ahead in some situations. To add, Mega Altaria is also able to boost Fairy-type Pokemon. So while Mega Altaria isn’t the most powerful Mega on its own, its bulk and resistances can make the difference in practice!
