MHR Sunbreak: Lv200 Afflicted Diablos Vs. Sneaky Insect Glaive – Lv200 傀異化ディアブロス操虫根ソロ【サンブレイク】

A surprisingly much faster run than the first time I hunted Afflicted Diablos with this /”Guild/” style.

I was able to update this set with a little more firepower ; Dereliction, Powder Mantle.

Usually Diablos is able to leave the area but in this run I was able to deal enough damage that it left the area limping instead, so I just had to finish it off in its sleeping area. I’m guessing the fact that it fell in the sandtrap extended the amount of time it would stay in the first area for a bit.

I love playing Glaive like this. While there is only a couple monsters in the game where you can really stick to their back like so, it’s still really fun. Diablos in particular has a lot of attacks that have extremely large windows that trigger Adrenaline Rush.

Diablos’ still an average fight with average AI that I wish could stop being brought back ; hunting Diablos always feels like a chore in MH. I’s equipment is also ugly as hell (armors, weapons are fine) and nearly never useful.

It’s ironic because I think Bloodbath Diablos on the other hand is the single best fight in the entire series.
