The demo has several difficulty and performance settings that adjust aspects like display, controls and gameplay, so that you can tailor your journey to your playstyle. For example, switch to Performance Mode for smoother gameplay, and adjust the difficulty from Easy to give yourself more of a challenge.
Forspoken follows the journey of Frey, a young New Yorker transported to the beautiful and cruel land of Athia. In search of a way home, Frey must use her newfound magical abilities to traverse sprawling landscapes and battle monstrous creatures. Frey’s unique abilities allow her to fluidly traverse the open world with ease. Scale walls, vault across canyons, leap from dizzying heights, and dash through vast landscapes.
The character will exist in an open world game format where players are able to travel anywhere at any time.
The player character, Frey, has access to a variety of magical spells. Following each combat encounter, the player will earn experience points. Frey’s cloak can be upgraded in order to improve her combat efficiency and stats, while applying nail polish unlocks special abilities.The player can also craft new items, or rest at a safe location in order to restore health. While the player is exploring the game world, they may encounter a /”breakstorm/
