This video didn’t include my pasts of getting NX to Gold scammed, thinking my in-game pet would permanently die if its summoning timer hit 0, my sister’s enormous Toy Bear pet, me recruiting for a Hubby and then getting married to her and leaving her the next day, my Blacksmith characters, playing with my lost and gone old internet friends, and getting scammed of my Grim Reaper Robe and Lunar Dragon Helmet.
If I get banned, meh. This was worth.
This project took 3 weeks to make, majorly due to procrastination and burn out. I would record 10 seconds then I would go on Twitch, Twitter, Discord for 3 hours. At some point, gathering clips and writing the script felt boring and unmotivating. Playing Mabinogi for 2 days straight grinding skills also took a production toll on me.
After watching Bobo’s quitting video, I suddenly got the inspiration and drive to go back into hyper speed, I used to watch her a lot back in 2018. Her overall message of /”life moves on/” hit me, as its my main inspiration of making this video. This game has been apart of my life for 12 years and I’ve changed/grown a lot in that time span, so has the game. Although it’s aged pretty poorly throughout the years, people still come back to it including myself, and the majority have left. At some point, the game will leave us, our fantasy life will move on, and I wanted to make this video in spite of that major future possibility before its gone.
