Known Issues being patched at launch or within one month:

Issues that Impact All Console Versions:
These issues impact all versions of My Time At Sandrock (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, PC):

1. Occasionally our residents in Sandrock may have trouble finding their way to their destination. They may bump into trees or try to walk into a wall.

2. In some places where people are crowded or items are over-stacked. You may experience FPS drops, occasionally stuttering. As we keep optimizing our game’s performance. It shall be resolved before the final launch.

3. In some rare cases, you may fall into the ground due to split terrain.

4. In a few side-quests voice casting is not fully implemented and it shall be implemented before lunch.

5. New features to be implemented from November 2 (launch day) :
Factory and Greenhouse
12 additional romance quests

Multiplayer Functionality Update

As we approach the coming release date, we would like to update you that we will be extending multiplayer development on console beyond the initial launch on November 2nd. Our initial plans were to release this update by January 2024, but unfortunately we will need to continue development until Summer Q2 2024 before adding multiplayer functionality to My Time At Sandrock.

Multiplayer will be an online co-op experience hosted by servers, where players can enjoy the sandbox gameplay of restoring Sandrock with a party of up to 4 builders. The Multiplayer Co-op mode is designed for all 4 players to work together in a more sandbox type of experience with persistent online servers.

Issues Specific to the My Time at Sandrock on Nintendo Switch

Memory optimisation can cause a crash after extended playtime

Player workshop placement has imposed limits to the yard building (house expansion, relics, machines, plants, decorations, chicken house etc.) for Nintendo Switch due to memory limitations of the device. If you go over this limit currently your game will suffer in performance and eventually crash. Pathea is currently preparing a patch to address this and it is set to go live mid-Nov.

If you run into this issue when building, please note that the following restrictions are in effect in the pre-launch build

Max Room: 3
Max roofs: 3
Max outdoor placement items: 60
Max indoor placement items: 60
Max planting areas: 20
Max outdoor decorative items: 3
Max indoor decorative items: 3

We are planning adjustments to these limitations on Switch, aiming to introduce a total number limit in a post-launch hotfix patch. This way, players can choose to create a larger room with fewer plants or more plants in a smaller room, offering some flexibility in customization.
