Silver Lining (helm)
Black Hole now devours the power of enemies caught within it, increasing the damage you deal by 3.8%, up to a maximum of 19%, for 2 seconds.

Kyn’s Cyroclasp (chest)
Ray of Frost now unleashes a stronger instantaneous beam after a short delay, damaging and freezing all enemies in its path. Ray of Frost damage increased by 18%

Searing judgment (shoulder)
Disintegrate now channels Fire, burning enemies for additional damage over time. Disintegrate damage increased by 18%

Greaves of the Firmament (legs)
Disintegrate deals 4477 additional damage every 3 hits. Damage increase 90%

Thistle Bloom (main)
Arcane wind now conjures a storm that grows over time, pulling in and damaging nearby enemies. Arcane wind damage increased by 18%

Unrepentant Gale (offhand)
Maximum Arcane wind charges increase by 1. Arcane wind cooldown reduced by 3.6%
Arcane wind damage increase by 10%(awakening)

Negation Blade (alt-main)
Black Hole also absorbs nearby enemy projectiles. Black Hole cooldown reduced by 3.6%

Alder Crystal (alt-offhand)
Arcane wind now also freezes chilled enemies for 2.4 seconds. Cannot occur more often than once every 3 seconds (5 seconds for player)

With this set up, there is no teleport like most wiz depend on, and that’s ok if anyone wants to adjust this to suit their play style. That’s what these are for.

So given that you are lacking teleport this will be a challenging build if you’re dependent on tele, the upside is that gives you another skill slot for cc. Crowd control is a huge factor in your movements. Playing the back field is how you want to run. Dropping wind one at a time and spacing them throughout the battleground in combination with black hole will give you tons of room to move in and out of the crowd. Also the big thing that helps me survive against bigger res is my reforge stones, the stacking 2% immobilize to 10% and the 6% across the board cheat death for a total of 48%. Also using protector from warband. A lot of the attacks will be at off screen targets so you have to pay attention to the map so you can exhaust the enemies will to respawn by over cc the crowd. Then the instantaneous ice beam blast into a ccd enemy right as the previous cc winds down provides knock back and freeze control (bk hates this). All together I can still cc multiple enemies at once for almost 10 seconds even with the previous patch. Which by the way is absurd to further nerf an already weak class, but anyway I won’t get into that. Now with this build a lot of folks tend to lean towards the crystal instead of the ice blast. Not a bad strategy but it makes you stationary, with the skills I use I am very mobile and my attacks are very dependable to drop and leave behind to do damage while I heal. All in all I have completely changed my PvP set up and play style from pre patch. Now I play more defensive and I always conclude that it’s better to stay alive longer and deal the damage as much as possible while alive.
