Yesterday, we received some new details about Columbina, and we also got to see the concept art of Alice. Most players would be familiar with Alice; she is the renowned adventurer and mage whom we have heard from several times during different patches like 1.6 or 2.8, etc. However, we have yet to meet her in the game, and her appearance remains a mystery. The same goes for Columbina: We don’t know much about her either, but we have received some new information, which we will discuss in the later part of this video.

Starting with Alice. Blednaya, a reliable source in the community, has shared a concept art of Alice, showcasing her potential character design. The artwork is eerily similar to Klee, which makes sense considering she is Alice’s daughter.

Alice is one of the most mysterious characters in Genshin Impact, and has been part of the storyline in several updates. She is a famous adventurer, a powerful mage part of the infamous Hexenzirkel, and Klee’s mother. And she’s also the author of the Teyvat Travel Guide, a popular travel magazine in the game.

While we have heard from Alice before during older quests, she has yet to appear in the game. So naturally, people have been extremely curious about her appearance.

In the artwork, you can see Alice draped in a red hood. She seems to have long white hair, neatly tied into a ponytail resting at the front, and her scarlet eyes and elf-like ears are reminiscent of her daughter Klee’s character design. Alice also appears to have feathers adoring her red hood, with some earrings hanging from her ears.

Moreover, TeamMew has suggested that this Alice concept art may be from sometime around version 1.5. According to them, it could have been produced as reference material for Alice’s voice actors to envision the character when performing. Considering how much time has passed since the 1.5 update, it is possible that the design may have been reworked since.

So, take this information with a grain of salt as hoyoverse oftentimes change the final character designs drastically.

Moving on to Columbina. She is the Third of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers and is believed to possess powers rivaling the gods. According to the new info via Team Mew, Columbina isn’t a Seelie: as speculated by many people since her first appearance in the Winter Night’s Lazzo trailer.

According to TeamMew, Columbina is a blessed race, with a direct link to the gods of Natlan. The term blessed race compares her to existing characters such as Yae Miko or the Aranara, which means that her species were likely created by the previous Pyro Archon.

It should be noted that this info, like others, should be taken with a grain of salt. The only thing that you can confirm from this new information is that Columbina will feature in Natlan’s Archon Quest, and that her species is geographically tied to Natlan. After all, Xbalanque in is heavily rumored to be one of the Dragon Sovereigns, and they are considered to be the original deities whose divine authority was usurped by the Archons. So it will be interesting to see how things will unfold in Natlan.
