Outward Has The BEST Magic System! (Definitive Edition)

Recently I have been playing a LOT of rune magic in Outward. I remember this skill tree being very good when I first started, but after hex mage came out I sort of stopped taking it. Now it’s in every build I make! Rune sage offers way more defense to the player, as well as numerous ways to attack enemies. The attack skills with this tree are very unique and allow you to both attack at range and up close. Is Rune Sage the best magic in Outward? Certainly feels really good either way!

Outward is an RPG/survival game that allows you take to make an almost infinite number of builds. Melee, magic, archery, and even traps are scattered across this harsh world in the form of skills. You must have a large amount of money to purchase these skills, but luckily the monsters drop extremely valuable items. The game has been harshly criticized for its realistic and difficult nature.
