If you enjoy Strategy and World War Two games you may have heard of the Panzer Corps series. This game has tactical army management across a grand campaign where your army carries over and is highly customizable. It’s not as overwhelming as Hearts of Iron IV, it has many similarities to RTS games such as CTA Gates of Hell Ostfront, and the turn based combat is similar to 4X titles such as Civilization and Humankind.
