Partisans 1941 Review – WW2 Real Time Tactics & Stealth Action

Partisans 1941 will feel familiar to fans of games like Commandos, Desperados, and Blades of the Shogun – real time tactics with an emphasis on stealth, set on the Eastern Front of World War II (as opposed to the Wild West or Edo Period Japan). Leading a small band of resistance fighters, you spend time establishing an HQ from where you participate in operations to dismantle the occupying forces. Balancing your team and their loadout for every mission, tending to wounds, and spending skill points to find and maximize synergies between the Partisans in any mission are all key elements that add some extra interest over top of the usual stealth-action tactical layer, but are they enough to overcome some of the key issues in the game?
