The whole event was made to honor Mega Diancie’s addition to the Pokemon Go Mobile Game. Once the Research missions were complete you had the chance to capture Diancie and mega evolve it. This made the people who attended Pokemon Go Fest 2023 the first of the Pokemon Go Fandom to obtain Diancie! While there we met up with Wazakas Gaming and Duckscardnest and we explored the many raids against Yveltal , Xerneas, Cresselia, and Mega Salamance and once we left the city we were on the hunt for Mega Rayquaza.
While in the event we pasted the trainer battle arena where staff would ref for trainers as they went up against each other and many other fun attractions. The event was so fun. People of all ages were there to have agood time and catch Pokemon! At the end of Pokemon Go Fest 2023 NYC I ended up with 14 shiny Pokemon! I have never caught that many shiny pokemon in one day in my entire life! I was so happy to see how the devided randall’s island into the 4 areas (the athletic field, Poison Swamp, Prehistoric Volcano, and Cursed Treasures habitat.
Pokemon Go fest 2023 NYC was a major sucsess and I would be more than happy to return for another Pokemon Go event in the future!
