Pokemon Go Level 38 Pokestop Nomination Issue

I’m playing on a Moto G7 Play, The app closes once I take a picture. I had to download a camera app(Simple Camera) on playstore and it works only for the first 2 pictures you need for one nomination. After that I clear the cache on pokemon go and on the camera app to make sure it works again. Otherwise it would force close if you try to do another nomination back to back.
Always clear the cache on the camera app, not sure if you should clear the cache on pokemon each time but I do.
