To unlock this request, you need to have reached the /”Arezu’s Predicament/” main story mission. You also need to have added Parasect into your Pokedex, and completed the previous request given by Morel which is Request 6 Mushroom Cake Marketing.
Once you retrieve the request from the blackboard you should activate the guide that way you can actually find Morel in his home. If you don’t activate the guide it will be very difficult to find Morel so open your map and activate it using the Y button to show your requests.
At Morel’s house you will find him sitting near the fire and thinking about a massive Mushroom Pokemon he saw. It’s up to you to bring him a specimen of Parasect so he can further study and understand it.
The best way to find Parasect is the Alpha Parasect located in Nature’s Pantry in Obsidian Fieldlands. It’s only level 30 so you shouldn’t have too much trouble with it even if you’re in the early game. Make sure you catch it so you can bring it back to Morel.
After you show Morel your Parasect he will complete the request for you and present you with a reward of 1 Candy Truffle item.
