Just a quick comparison between Ride 5 and Ride 4 with regards to sound and physics.

They haven’t really done much to improve sound for Ride 5. I don’t think they have captured the raw sound of power that makes bikes unique.

Physics wise, the front wheel lifts an awful lot easier in Ride 4.. You need to be very skilful in order to pull off a decent wheelie in Ride 4. In Ride 5, when you reach a certain speed and then lean back, you won’t be able to flip the bike. It will get to a certain point and just stay there all day. It might be a bit less realistic but probably more fun if you like wheeling.

You can do proper burnouts in Ride 5. You can’t do burnouts as easily in Ride 4 as the back wheel grips up, and you flip the bike.

Ride 5 handling is slightly better overall, in my opinion.

To sum up the handling in both games, I would say, that the bikes in Ride 4 are more skittish and feel more powerful under acceleration. The bikes in Ride 5 are less stable than the bikes in Ride 4 under braking.

The bikes aren’t as twitchy as they are in Ride 4. Some people may prefer the twitchy nature of Ride 4.

The bikes still feel sluggish in transition from side to side with not much difference between lightweight 250cc bikes and heavy 1000cc bikes.

I think Ride 5 is more forgiving and easier to Ride faster.

I’m not sure they have changed / improved Ride 5 enough to warrant the price tag.

I recommend checking out gameplay and reputable honest reviews before you decide to pick up Ride 5.
