Russian airport stormed by pro-Palestinian protesters

Russia’s aviation authority has had to divert flights from an airport in the south of the country after an angry mob stormed the runway to intercept a passenger jet arriving from Israel.

Hundreds of people gathered at Makhachkala airport in the Dagestan region, which is predominantly Muslim, after hearing that a flight had landed from Tel Aviv.
