![Saya no Uta - Deep and Disturbing](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/OEd5nE-E1bg/hqdefault.jpg)
This is a review / analysis of Saya no Uta, a relatively obscure horror game that’s probably the scariest I’ve ever played. It’s a visual novel that ignores all the tropes, and goes about terrifying the audience in a much deeper way. The first part of this video is a general spoiler-free review. The second part is an in-depth analysis on the themes with massive spoilers.
0:00 Part 1 – General Review
18:58 Part 2 – Deeper Analysis *SPOILERS*
40:04 Conclusion
This is a review of the 2009 version. There’s an HD version on Steam, but with no 18 scenes. You need to get a patch for the recommended experience. The original version can be found online somewhere [ hit me up on Twitter ;p ]
The audio mixing isn’t the best, and my narration still needs improvement. There’s probably editing mistakes in there too. But, I hope you enjoy the video, subscribe for more in the future. 🙂
