major skirmish with
[Nort](ST1-GT8-ESNA-Nors-Nort)(defense)
and others
at PFY255, BJS 10:30pm.

Defenders won the upper hand by element of surprise. One Corona Capital Ship lost on the attacker side. [NCS-GNMB] Command had no intel on this sudden enemy rally.

[CAN2-CHRD] T1 fleet interfered when news arrived. [ODT] T2 fleet also responded shortly after, and [Nort] immediately escalated to 60 T2s, while [ODT] had 30.
The battle then fell into a deadlock.

[GNMB] T1 fleet continued to take severe casualties and slowly went crippled. T2 fleet on both sides suffered some casualties, with the game crashing from time to time, resulting in multiple accidental drift-aways and ship losses.

In the end the defender side pulled out when [NCS] gave the rally orders and reinforcements began to arrive.

Attacker side forces remained on sight until system transition was completed. The system was eventually secured, but at some cost.
