The device uses a specific IC that generates pulses on specific time intervals of 9, 18, and 36 minutes that then trigger a motor to press the plunger of the fragrance bottle and spray a bit in the room.
Additionally, I found out that if we connect pin 2 of the IC we can cause the device to release fragrance immediately so I rigged it with the NodeMCU to bypass the switch and operate any mode of it.
