So I’ve been having a problem with the PC version of Danganronpa V3 ever since I started playing. Sometimes, for some reason, with no specific pattern or whatever, inputs just refuse to register. It can be anytime during the game, it’s not a framerate issue at all. It happens most of the time when there’s just text and I want to move on to the next box and it doesn’t register the input so I have to mash it for like 2 seconds for it to finally detect my input.

Note that this was far from my first attempt. I first played with my touchpad because I was confident I would still be able to do it, and I was right. But I KEPT mashing on the w and s keys because it just…. wouldn’t… SWITCH! And I had to MASH the right click button all the time. And yet there was still not enough time. I don’t have footage of this as my pc wasn’t connected and background recording is turned off whenever it’s not plugged in, but it was WAY worse. And then I went /”fuck it, I’ll use my mouse/” and it still didn’t fix the problem. If I had recorded it, we would’ve heard sounds of me hitting the mouse on the table in frustration a lot. And then I decided to plug it in and it STILL was this crappy.
I failed it twice I think. Even though I was perfectly fast enough.
I would scroll once, it wouldn’t work, so I would scroll again after a second and POOF now it scrolled twice, so scrolling was a pain in the ass. That is, when it WAS working.
And then I had to MASH right click when I had made it to the right response in the middle of the statement and it would still be too late. We’re talking clicking like 10 fucking times and none of them register.

It’s so annoying and it’s been happening during the whole game. Anyone else have this problem with the steam version on keyboard? I don’t know if this has to do with just the keyboard input type. I doubt it is. That hasn’t happened to me for any other game, so it’s for sure a problem with V3 specifically on Steam.
