Jaehee was not born in a perfect family. Her father is 20 years older than her mother and had passed away long before her mother died in a car crash. Her mother’s brother felt responsible to take care of her but his stingy wife refused. They took care of her until she graduated from college and she looked for a job immediately. V found her resume under a pile of other files and told Jumin to hire her instead, since his father will never get to her. She also knew how to play judo, so he felt that she’s the perfect assistant that he needed.

Jaehee was constantly found to have piled up work due to Jumin’s incapability to understand a person’s work limit. This is, perhaps, due to his expectations towards Jaehee, that she can be very efficient while doing work.

Jaehee felt emotionally exhausted and she can’t take it anymore when her boss couldn’t take a great result seriously but only focused on his personal feelings when LongCat was used as a mascot instead of his beloved Elizabeth the 3rd. She eventually quit her job and asked [mc] to be her partner for her new coffee shop.

After Ending: Jumin then felt remorseful and tried to find a better assistant. He tried to make Yoosung, who was an intern in his office, to become his assistant. Jaehee and [mc] opened the coffee shop 6 months later.
