Typically the most common set you see with Veluza is a Fillet Away set with Sharpness to boost the moves of Aqua Cutter, Psycho Cut and Night Slash. But that set gets walled by Dondozo and other defensive Pokemon. However, there is one Veluza set in particular that destroys pretty much everything, and that is Fillet Away with Stored Power and Mold Breaker over Sharpness to ignore abilities. This allows you to break through pretty much everything in the tier, and when you pair Veluza’s Stored Power with Psychic Terrain and a Psychic type Terastallization it is literal overkill against many different types of Pokemon. To give an example, even a Specially Defensive Blissey can get 2HKO’d by Stored Power Veluza with all the additional boosts you give it. Of course I had to pair this Pokemon with Psychic Surge Indeedee for added damage. It also allows Veluza to not be hit by priority moves from things like Chien-Pao, Dragonite, and more. Then I added Grimmsnarl for Dual Screens and Orthworm for Stealth Rocks and Shed Tail pass to give Veluza a much easier time setting up. Finally I added Garchomp and Hatterene as additional sweepers for the team that benefit greatly with the added bulk from Reflect and Light Screen. 🙂
