Level 34 Unfezant with Air Slash / Sky Attack
Commentary:
With a double weakness to Flying attacks, it was only a matter of which flyer to use for taking on Breloom in this one.
I would have liked to have gone with a higher level Pidgeot on this one, for nostalgia reasons if nothing else. But seeing that I’m still strapped for dust after the Genesect Solo challenge, I went with plan B. In this case, it was an Unfezant that I had powered up for a previous raid challenge earlier in the year (Virizion, I think).
And even though Flying was going to make short work of Breloom here, trying to dodge that Dynamic Punch attack took a few attempts.
In this last attempt, after missing the first dodge and having to over-dodge to avoid the second Dynamic Punch, I was super fortunate that my final Sky Attack landed right as Breloom’s attack was going to end the match.
Sometimes, that type of luck is what it takes, I guess.
