You will need to unlock the Power Pulse upgrade for your pulse cannon. This upgrade isn’t unlockable until you have scanned 50 scannable objects for the encyclopedia. Once unlocked, find a group of three enemies (preferably gunk critters) and kill them in quick succession. You don’t need to kill all three of them with one shot.
