Cutting an aquarium in half is not the best of ideas but it’s a lot of fun. You can always DIY a something interesting out of the wreckage, and in this case I went on a journey of restoration and built an ecosystem. There’s something about shallow fish tanks that appeals to a lot of people, and I thought my desktop was just the right place to appreciate mine (so that my fish can judge my every move while I edit videos about them).

Follow along as the fish tank develops the natural way; with no filter, and no co2 injection.
