I don’t typically make a shopping trip this big–I tend to make smaller, more frequent trips and vary the markets I go to–but I was gone from home for a week and came home to an empty fridge that I wanted to stock up.

I do not generally shop with recipes in mind. Instead, I pick up some staples I know I’ll find use for, and try and find things that are a good deal or on sale.
