A few years ago, a group of Star Wars fans joined forced to remake the original Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic game. Whilst development was going smoothly. It was ultimately shut down by Disney just two years later. This was because they were in the middle of preparing for their own official KOTOR remake that was eventually announced this year!
