Welcome back to We Play Games! This video is the second in a playlist designed primarily to help you get the tools you need to succeed in Multiplayer, though obviously the things that are successful in Multiplayer are similarly good in Singleplayer (though the current state of the AI means you can kinda do whatever you want to in Singleplayer and feel OP).
This Tier 1 Tome Tier List might look pretty different from what you are used to seeing, but that reflects the differences between Single Player and Multiplayer. In Single Player you are way, way stronger than basically anything else on the map, especially if you are going to use manual battles against the tactical AI (which is, as of the Watcher update, basically non-functional). In Multiplayer, of course, you are going to be playing against a much, much more intelligent opponent, one who exploits the weaknesses in certain builds way more effectively. You need to build a faction with a selection of tomes that provides real strength to you – not just one that allows you to clown on the AI. This Tier List is meant to help steer you towards the genuinely good stuff, and if the tactical AI ever gets a meaningful overhaul (I hope it does!) then I imagine this list will help you navigate said stronger AI pretty well.
