In Part 3 of this 3 part Beginners’ Guide series, I will be talking about how to manage your finances in Top Drives which is essential to success. Firstly I will be confirming the importance of not levelling up in RQ too quickly – avoid replaying the campaign or over-participating in events, as you are more likely to earn XP, resulting in you having a higher RQ and thus facing harder, more experienced opponents with much better cars. The main purpose of this video is about how to get cash and gold fast, so I outline the main strategies – do not spend gold on anything other than special RQ milestone offer packs or other special offer packs, including slots offers; play all events regardless of how good your cars are so you can get free cash and gold regardless; attempt all challenges for special prizes and packs, including free prize cars; play clubs and purchase the 499 gold cash multiplier if you are going to be active as you can make 100k-150k cash per day; watch ads every day to earn up to 51 gold per day, which means a free carbon fibre pack every month for only a few minutes effort every day. Next, I discuss the importance of logging in every day to get free rewards, as this is an easy way to progress in the game with free rewards even if you can’t play the game much. Ultimately, the final point addressed is – if you have excess cash that hasn’t been spent yet on upgrades or fuses (see the other parts 1 and 2 for information on this), then the best way to spend the extra cash is on ceramic packs which are the best value packs in the game and even have a chance of dropping up to 2 legendaries each! Of course, saving cash is also a good idea for those events where you might need to do some extra upgrades to give you the edge.
