In today’s video we are shout casting a very spicy triple shadow team utilizing THREE shiny shadow Pokemon, only accessible through the Rocket Grunt leaders. These battles were submitted to the channel by ‘ChinpoKaymon’ taking place in the 2400 ELO range.

This team is the definition of glass cannon, with Shadow Sharpedo in the lead and Shadow Scizor in the back, this team finds most of its bulk in Shadow Forretress which is bulky relative to the other two but still quite fragile considering it is a shadow variant.

Shadow Sharpedo is one of the most fun Pokemon to use in GBL, it goes down quick but hits hard like a truck! With access to Poison Fang it can lower the opponents DEF stat and absolutely chunk away with Waterfall damage.

Shadow Forretress is the safe-switch on this team and with two steel/bug type Pokemon in the back, this team operates in a sort of ABB style. Forretress will be used to lure out the Fire type user such as Alolan Marowak or Shadow Mawile. Unfortunately this typing is not too prevalent within the meta so this tactic will often lure out a different Pokemon instead.

Shadow Scizor operates as the closer for the most part but that role can alternate with Sharpedo depending on the flow of the game. Scizor is an extremely strong option in the Halloween Cup and continues to be a force on many teams.

Overall this is a very fun spicy team that is hard to recommend. While all three of these Pokemon have their own play in this meta it would be insane to recommend running all three on the same team. Despite that warning, this trainer is able to pull off some fascinating and extremely satisfying wins with this team.

In this video we use a team consisting of: Shadow Sharpedo (Waterfall, Poison Fang, Crunch), Shadow Forretress (Bug Bite, Mirror Shot, Earthquake) & Shadow Scizor (Bullet Punch, Night Slash, Iron Head).
