Tuning tips – tweaking 2022 Chinese Hit and Miss Model Engine! Enjomor Hit and Miss Engine

You saw in my unboxing for this engine that mine would initially not /”miss/” – the governor wasn’t working. I follow up on progress with that and the various tweaks I tried to get a satisfactory running character with as much miss and as little hit as I could. Includes inserting lead in the governor weights and pollishing all its surfaces, trying springs (unsuccesful) and shims (successful). The motor is easy to start but as it warms up the piston ring seems to stick. Doesn’t seem to be lack of oil – is it swelling due to my oil of small amounts of Fuelite in my petrol? I’ll let you know after I get fresh petrol and oil.
