UN General Assembly adopts resolution demanding 'humanitarian truce' DW News
The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) overwhelmingly adopted late on Friday a non-binding resolution demanding an /”immediate, durable and sustained humanitarian truce/” in Gaza. The resolution was put forth by Arab countries. One hundred and twenty countries voted in favor. Fourteen countries were against, including Israel and the United States. Forty-five countries abstained, including Germany.
