Universe Mode 101 – Booking Tips & Tricks (Matches & Match Cards)

A wrestling product will live and die by the strength of its booking. This applies not only to a simple Universe Mode series on YouTube, but to real-life wrestling companies, as well. If you don’t experiment with new ideas, keep your audience guessing or develop new stars, you become repetitive. Repetition leads to stagnation, stagnation leads to boredom, boredom leads to suffering. The last thing that you want to do is torture your audience with a predictable, uninventive or illogical show. This video will provide some helpful tips and tricks on how you can improve your wrestling booking. I plan to release a second part where I will discuss individual characters and storylines, but this video will focus primarily on individual matches and how to properly set up a match card.
