Welcome back to Wartales! Shiro Games has managed to realize their vision and release a great strategy RPG that is more than the sum of its parts. Our squad of Deserters will take the world by storm, or at least leave some nice blood stains on the side of the road, by way of expert difficulty. Everything is going to be ramped up, including, as you shall see, our level of suspicion.

Wartales has DNA from a lot of other games, including Battle Brothers, Kenshi, and Mount and Blade. It’s well worth the price right now and I’m excited to see where this game goes towards release. Intimated as hell, yes. But excited.
