I did find Alo’s desk finally. The work table does not acknowledge it as furniture. It is in the first tab with the metal bars symbols or the list all tab. There are a lot of furniture pieces that are incorrectly sorted into the wrong category on the work table.

I am not planning on doing everything in this playthrough since this update was released so close to full release. I might not get to stuff like fully expanding the yard, a much bigger house, possibly marriage, etc. I will be trying to fully upgrade and complete things like the encyclopedia on the full release playthrough.
