Nier games stay in the hearts of their players for years after the end credits roll for the last time. Here’s a look at how the soundtrack helps make that happen.

I’m confused why so many people keep trying to explain WCS to me, since I put those letters onscreen in the part they’re commenting about. I still thought it was snow because of the cold weather and how slowly the salt falls. But since publishing this, I read a statement from Yoko Taro that yes, it is salt. So I think maybe he just doesn’t know what salt is.

Feel free to send subtitles of any language to my business e-mail, and I will publish them!
.srt format with time stamps preferred, but I’ll accept anything as long as I know what lines should show at what time.

Have a request? I read every comment and take note of all track breakdown requests! However, there are hundreds of them, and I’m just one guy. So please understand that even some tracks I consider a high priority are at least a year away. But don’t let that stop you from asking!

Corrections:
3:24 They really made me blur out ten seconds of a music video. Now that’s petty.
9:21 Yoko Taro has stated that it’s all salt so I guess salt floats in the NieR universe
9:32 It’s not known for sure what caused climate change in NieR, but it’s related to the lore, not our world.
19:33 I should have said tonic, not root. Chords have roots, scales have tonics.
