Why the Light Type will Never be in Pokémon

Fans are a fickle bunch; we think we want one thing, and if we get it, they didn’t do it the right way. I say that to illustrate that at large fans don’t really seem to get the Pokémon types and keep coming up with ideas on how to /”improve/” them by adding more, without much thought about how it would interact with all the other types, or even WHY those types existed in the first place, and fail to realize what they might all have in common that’s left out of these fan options…
